Sidecho Records is glad to have yet ANOTHER great band join our family. After a successful tour with The Good Life, Neva Dinova is releasing "The Hate Yourself Change" February 8th, 2005. They will be touring with Bright Eyes in February and March of next year. More updates on the tour to come!

HELP SAVE MACROCK

MACROCK is a music conference and is in the situation of possibly being stopped this year from the school that it is associated with. Started in 1997 it was an avenue for
mid-atlantic schools and bands to play. It has now turned into a conference
where bands play from all over the US from over 4000 submissions! I am sure
many of you know that many bands get their start at this conference and go
on to do great things. The managers at WXJM and MACRoCk are attempting to start a letter
writing campaign to show support of MACRoCk. Of course, we can't just write
the letters ourselves, so we're asking for your help. Hopefully, you have
enjoyed your experiences at MACRoCk in the past and can vouch that you
benefited from them. And as a favor to those of us at MACRoCK, hopefully
you can take a few minutes to voice that opinion in a letter to Acting Dean
Marilou Johnson to let her know what a valuable experience MACRoCk is. We
ask that if you do send a letter, we would also like to see a copy of it and
possibly include it in our report to the university and the media board. We are trying to be as professional as possible about this and ask you to do the same. Mailing info for the dean and myself at the radio station follows. Thank you so much for your support of MACRoCk over the years, and hopefully this year we can impress the right people to make it still happen.
If you could please take a minute to put together
something, it would be greatly appreciated.

It has just been confirmed that MC Lars will be playing with Gym Class Heroes on the east coast 12/7 - 12/11. Check Back for more info.
Also, Lars will be shooting a video for "Signing Emo" 12/4 - 12/5 with director Stewart Hendlar (he directed the "igeneration" video too) So look for that soon!!!

Lars hits the road again in December, running the west coast with fellow alt-rap-types Gym Class Heroes, as well as Halfwayhome and Race the Sun. "Signing Emo" has made its way onto Triple J in Australia! It's also being released this week on the Oz punk compilation Caddy Of the Year (Below Par).
MC Lars has been in the studio writing new songs and working with Mike Sapone (Taking Back Sunday, Brand New) and John Fields (Pink, Switchfoot, Andrew WK). Expect a full album in 2005! CHECK OUT THIS ARTICLE ON MTV.COM
